Why vibe coding is changing everything
It's a new era for this newsletter!
Big news today!
This newsletter is evolving into Vibetown — a friendly guide to vibe coding.
In short, vibe coding is a new way to build digital products. Describe what you want in plain English; AI drafts the code; you review, steer the feel, and ship. It dramatically lowers the barrier to building software.
Why now
Over the last 10 years, I’ve been working as a Content Designer with Spotify, Minecraft, and WordPress, and that’s why I initially started this newsletter — to share what I’ve learned about the craft.
While I’m still working as a Content Design consultant, I’ve been experimenting a lot with AI in all its shapes and forms. I use ChatGPT and Claude daily, and they’ve become an integral part of my workflow.
But then I discovered coding with AI. Lovable can turn short prompts into real UI screens. Cursor is a full-featured AI coding partner: you describe a change, it opens files and applies edits across your project. Together, that means you can start building in minutes.
Using these tools, I recently created Vibesuite and reached 300+ users in a couple of months — despite having minimal coding experience. That experience convinced me this shift is real.
Why it matters
I want to show you a tweet.
That’s AI researcher Andrej Karpathy, founding member of OpenAI and previous head of AI at Tesla. He also known for coining “vibe coding” a couple of months ago.
It's simple, but true: with AI, natural language is all you need to start building a digital product.
That’s Paul Graham, co‑founder of Y Combinator, the world’s most successful startup accelerator. Probably someone with a strong idea of where technology is headed.
If you’re listening to what people are saying online, it definitely sounds like vibe coding is picking up serious momentum.
What you’ll get
Things are changing every day, and I want to make it easy to follow along. So that's what you'll get with Vibetown: quick explainers, maker interviews, and curated tools — all so you can start building your own products.
With 1,500+ subscribers here, I want to make sure that everyone knows what they signed up for. If you don’t want to stick around, please feel free to unsubscribe. Really, no hard feelings.
But if you want to stay, join me as we explore and learn more about vibe coding — one of the most exciting new technologies of the last decade.
Quick question
What’s one thing you’d like to build with AI? Just hit reply — I read everything.

Yay, this is great. I’ve been learning from others on LinkedIn, but I don’t love the platform, so thanks for creating this. I want to start building an MVP of an app idea. I haven't tried Lovable yet, but I tried aura.build and I had some issues exporting screens back to Figma. The wireframe import from Figma worked seamlessly tho
so excited to learn about vibe coding! 😘
